WELCOME to the Feminist Student Organization
at Northeastern University

Our Mission:

The Feminist Student Organization (FSO) is designed to encourage the empowerment of women on campus. We strive to create an equitable and positive university environment for all students by creating awareness of women's issues through various activities. FSO provides a gathering place where students can find support and discuss concerns. The FSO 2008-2009 E-board members are Leanne O'Brien, Sophia Dean and Julee Goldberg. The Feminist Student Organization co-sponsors programs such as "Take Back the Night" and the "Annual Day of Silence" and collaborates with several other student organizations on campus.
